I don't think I would buy this. Also, wouldn't it dull your pins after awhile?

Too Big, Too Noisy, Too Expensive, What to do with the pins that have been used, A Two step process to grab a pin, won't take my flat longer pins, No space next to the machine to set it, any other negatives?

Positives: Can't think of any.

If I had one it would jam - you know like a stapler jams - does my magnet or pincushion ever jam?

I used to do that til I sneezed suddenly one day. Pins all over the place! Now if I do it I only hold 3 or 4.

And what the heck do you do with the pins as you sew and remove them? Lay them on that oh-so-convenient paper funnel next to your already crowded workspace until you've got a pile of them and then load them back into the barrel?

Honestly, I am a gadget lover, sewing and in the kitchen. But I just don't see any positives for this thing.
I agree 100%. Give me my magnetic bowls anytime.

The price of $29.95 at Hancock Fabrics is a sale price. Guess they have sold a few at a couple of Minnesota stores. Ridiculous.

Not sure I will get one, but something to think about.
As far as I'm concerned it is just something else to use batteries, and will end up in the back of the closet when you run out of batteries. My magnetic pin cushion works just fine and doesn't take batteries.

Gotta say, even the Gadget Queen herself (that's moi!) does not need one of these babies. Unless, maybe, if it came in pink or red. Hee hee hee.
