New Sewing Machine
If I knew how to do a cartwheel I would do one. I just came home with a brand new Janome 7700. i am so excited. My old Janome, a 4800, has nothing wrong with it except it's old. I know, that's no reason to replace it, but this new machine has so much to offer. My old machine will be my back-up machine. I test drove the 7900 Horizon and couldn't stop thinking about it. My new machine has everything that the 7900 has except it doesn't have the 9 mm width for stitches only 7 mm. Since I don't want embroidery I don't think that will be a problem. I also never do decorative stitches so I don't think I will miss that. I'm so excited to start fooling with it. It comes with lessons (as long as it takes) and I don't know what else it comes with. I guess I should get the book out and start reading. Help me think of a name for her and a name for my 4800 who I never named. I simple called her "the machine". Thanks
I almost forgot--the 4800 has a 6 inch harp and the 7700 has double that. Wow

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I need to get my lessons going so I can play with her. I would post a picture but I don't know how to do that. I got up early and arranged all the feet, so now I'm ready to go. I wish the quilt shop was open today!! Selfish huh? I will call tomorrow morning, maybe she can give me a quick lesson on Monday.
