I found this tutorial...so far its the best I can find...not haviing much luck.

From what I understand, the quilt binder foot is meant to use one layer of fabric and it folds it under on both the top and bottom sides before it gets stitched on. The ends up giving you only 1 layer of fabric on the actual edge of the quilt.
My Janome dealer says you can feed a folded fabric through it but it is tedious to get it started.

here I go....time to try this new binding tool....fingers crossed,,,I wish there was better video on how to do this

I gave up...I am hand sewing my binding...I am going to ask the dealer how the heck to use that binding tool....but I just want to finish this quilt....
