Thx for bringing the kitty pix back. Wonder what she's been up to lately? Mine is getting old and lazy. Right now he is pushed against my hip on the couch. Last night I was totally relaxed as I watched tv...wham! This is where he was determined to be.

What a great ideal!! Wish I had one. I usually end up pinning them onto my design wall because your are correct! Don't want to have to press them again after cutting.

You can also use a pants hanger if your floor space is limited. Mine is ancient and the bars swing away from the frame easily to enable me to remove strips.

What a great use for the old wooden clothes drying rack, can't wait to see the finished quilt.

Those racks are awesome. I have wrapped then with plastic wrap and dried homemade noodles!

I love those racks! I believe the first time I had heard of it was on "Simply Quilts" and went out and bought a wooden one because that was what I found. Each of my daughters saw it and wanted one, so went back, bought them each one as a silly Christmas gift - kind of silly but wonderfully useful. Then one day I was at either Target or Walmart and found a metal one that wasn't as wide and got it. So one is kept for laundry and the other in my sewing room. The smaller one sometimes wanders out of the sewing room when my daughter hasn't done her laundry in a while and is hang drying more than usual.

Sure wish I could use it for homemade noodles - I haven't had them since I was very young. My mother used to make them for chicken and noodles and I could just never get enough. Have thought seriously about learning to make them but I already eat too much pasta, we would have it every day if I made it like my mom.
