Default New use for stitch in the ditch foot

This may not be news to many of you, but I had a lightbulb moment earlier this afternoon - I had to stitch close to the edge of a folded piece of fabric to make a strap - I wasn't sure how I was going to get an even, close to the edge stitch going.
When I went to my machine, the accufeed stitch in the ditch foot was on, and that was when the flash of inspiration hit - I could use the stitch in the ditch guide like a 1/4 inch guide and adjust my needle to the left! I know I could have just used the 1/4 inch foot, but I wanted the even feed function.
Some days it doesn't take much to make me happy!

Sounds like a Eureka moment to me. Good thinking! I don't think I have one of those.

Exactly! I have struggled with this before, it was just good luck that the foot was on the machine when I went to sew the strap pieces.
