My goal for next year is to make at least one quilt a month using fabric that I have on hand. I also plan to spend more time practicing FMQ.

Conquering my fear of trying something new, especially machine embroidery.

No new resolutions for me this year. I'm just going to keep trying to be the best husband and father that I can be.

Sewing related- I seriously need to reorganize my sewing room. I have too many old treadle machines i purchased with the intent to fix them up, but they are going to be looking for new homes this Spring. Too many patterns I never used, too many books. I need to simplify my life. I remember what it was like to be able to just walk into the room and sit to sew. Now I have stuff everywhere. I have been teaching pillowcase and pillowcase dress making with my sister's church, but this has led to more totes traveling back and forth, and extra sewing machines and gear. So- I WILL simplify and reclaim my space!

I'm retiring next week so I plan on enjoying my retirement and do more quilting.
