Boston really started a trend with those 'square in a square' quilts! Love all the blues, Nan.

Teen, love the fabrics you have put together for your quilt. Wondering what the design will be.

I got a lot done today but no sewing happened. Hubby split firewood out in the woods, and we loaded it up, hauled it and stacked it on the porch... just ahead of the snow we are supposed to be getting tonight. Last time it snowed here the snow was heavy and pulled down power lines. Gotta have that firewood if we lose power.

I also got our taxes done! No, not 2017, but 2016. I know... I'm a really bad procrastinator.

Now I'm free to get back to trimming mystery quilt blocks, in prep for another small clue tomorrow.

I have my curtain panels cut. I pinned one and hung it in the window just to get an idea of how it will look. Plus it is so nice to see this fabric somewhere other than on my loom - I started weaving in June! LOL

Tomorrow I am hoping to finish them while baking a cake for a New Years Eve family gathering. Plus we might be getting another BH mystery clue.

That curtain looks beautiful on the window. Gorgeous with the sun coming through the weave.

Your weaving is exemplary, truly. These panels are gorgeous..

Sewbiz......I don"t have a pattern or picture to share with you...I was inspired by a quilt on the web and will be piecing it somewhat based on picture but will, also, be appliquing once pieced......
I would not be able to sleep at night if I didn't file my taxes on time. Good for you going into the new year up to date...

Jan - that particular maze quilt was a total pain. But that is because I took a real maze and tried to turn it into a quilt. It was a good learning experience, and even as careful as I was, I had to rip and redo a few spots because I ended up with a maze with no solution LOL!!

Here is the last one bound for tonight. I looked for two years before I found the perfect Rose prints for this pattern.

The quilting on this is amazing! I love the solid back to show such gorgeous quilting. And although your maze might have been a pain to do, it is absolutely fabulous! Makes me want to do one:-)

I thought that I would set the machine up today but I couldn't get my head out the book. Sometime I get just as caught up in reading as I do the sewing, or piecing. Well, tomorrow will be just as cold or colder and they are predicting some snow for overnight. I usually don't travel when that happens so I maybe sitting up that little Featherweight in the morning. Then I'll work one of these unfinished works around here.

Ladies you doing some very lovely work that you are getting finished. Just beautiful and please continue and loving the pictures.

Happy New Years to all. Thanks Raggiemom for hosting again and allowing all that joined in the opportunity to start the new year off right.

I pulled out a Christmas quilt kit that was from 2000!!!! It's kind of a sampler and they can be tedious but hopefully I'll finish it before the new year begins!
