Welcome from Texas. You could join your local guild to learn more about quilting in your area.

Welcome from Birmingham, Alabama! Do you know about the Alabama Quilt Symposium? This year, it will be in Hoover on June 7 - 9. It is a quilt show with classes and shopping. We have 26 vendors who will be at the show. Show hours are 1-7 on Thursday, 8-8 on Friday and 8 - 5 on Saturday. You can see the classes and other information at QSAI.org. It is sponsored by the Evening Star Quilt which meets on the first Thursday at 6:30 at the North Shelby Library on Hwy 119 in Pelham. This is a teaching guild so it is a great place for new quilters and experienced one too.
