I washed a top out of necessity, I had a cat puke incident. Anyway, I pressed it out real good, didn't worry about my seam allowances going every which way, squared it up with one more border and was able to LA with no issues. However, at the time I was a VERY Green LAer. This was my first quilt I put on the rack. I had no problems, but may have been too green to know a problem. You should be ok after a good pressing. Make sure the quilt is still square, if not you may want to square it up with another round of borders. Be open and candid with your LA quilter about it, they may see no problems with quilting it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will post a picture either when the quilter gets finished or I quilt it myself. It does not look as if it is misshaped but when I measure it for the backing I am sure I will find out.
