I'm trying to decide which quilting ruler is best for someone new at this, to begin using on a long arm sewing machine. I don't want to purchase something that I won't use. They seem to be quite expensive for one thing.

To tell you the truth, I felt the same way, so I had a glass cutter cut my some acrylic rulers. circles, and rectangles, different sizes..
Then I purchase the boat load of rulers.
