oksewglad....
Before I left for a trip to BC for two weeks, we were caught up with the mowing. DH had a follow-up colonoscopy to have a polyp removed..3 days after I left. :( The morning of, he went down the basement for something before leaving the house and stepped into water....the hot water tank blew...literally. It had a big hole in the side with water gushing out!! (It was only about 36 yrs old!! LOL ) So, between recuping from his surgery, and dealing with drying up the basement and getting a new water heater in before I got home, AND the rain, I came home to a lawn that was between 9" and 2' in places. We have been getting out in between the rains as often as we can to get it caught up again. We keep about 2 acres in lawn, so it isn't a quick catch-up. This really has been a very wet spring here. Some farm fields are still like big lakes. :( A GF joked that she needed to get crop insurance for her backyard veggie garden.
