I can get the top done, but I wouldn't get the whole quilt finished anytime soon because I'm a handquilter & I have several other quilts that I need to finish first. Is this ok? Let me know! Otherwise, PUT ME IN COACH, I CAN DO IT, I KNOW I CAN!!!

I haven't joined anything on the Board yet, this sounds like an easy start...not too scary. So sure let's go for it.

I'm in - this should get me back to my machine, which I seem to have been avoiding - thanks for the push

The idea is to make 1 nine patch block a day starting June 15 and the last one you make will be August 15. That should give us 62 blocks (if my math is right). After that you can assemble them anyway you like. Quilt tops, wall quilts, tote bags, table runners or toppers. Sash them, make then into D9P, add solid blocks between, anything, be creative.

You have however long you want to put them together. By the end of this time you should have enough blocks to put together one of those "UH, OH! I need a quick gift or get a jump on Christmas presents or baby quilts.

I know the people who started this and some of the shops will get theirs together in time for a potluck or picnic together. Since we can't do that we can take our time.

I just thought this would be a fun thing for us to do here since we have quilters of every skill level and everyone can do it.

I have vowed to stop buying fabric until I use up what I have. This will be a great project to use up my stash. Thanks for this I'm going to try. :)

this actually sounds like a good stash builder. Being a new quilter, I could easily get a couple of yards of different fabrics to have on hand. I will even have a sewing room set up by the start date!!! count me in!

I've never tried something like this...I'm in. I can't wait to get home and make todays block. I don't have a huge stash so it should be interesting.
