I searched and searched for a free pattern. Looks like for now, it's only available in her book.

You would have to buy her book. Take the pattern trace it. Take it to your local hardware store and have them cut you a plexi glass template. I don't think they have a set to buy from what she was saying. Or at least that is what I am thinking of doing if I can find the book locally. LOL

You can get the book from Connecting Threads at 55% off until Oct. 31. Cost is $8.55

I've got a list of books I'm ordering (@ 40% off) and just added this to my list... Thanks, the quilt is beautiful!

Thanks for this tip - do we have a coupon code as well. I live outside the FREE SHIPPING as in South Africa. :(

Connecting Threads doesn't ship outside of the US (except to Canada).

My European friends buy and send their shipments to me (or I order for them) and then I reship to them via USPS Priority.
That way they can take advantage of the sales and free shipping (so it really doesn't cost anymore than if CT DID ship intl).

It isn't free, but Buggy Barn has a pineapple block that I love.
