Need Suggestions on how to quilt a Star pattern.

I need some suggestions on quilting a star pattern quilt that doesn't involve quilting each diagonal in the star. I want to enter it in a quilt show so I don't want to post it. It's just a variation of a Lone Star or Radiant Star pattern. I don't want anything too heavily quilted but I'm not sure an all over design would work on this type quilt. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am curious what happened with this quilt. I have a modified Lone Star quilt for which I am sketching out the design. I have three borders. The inner border is 2 inch dark value. The second border is 4 3/4 inch with the embroidered names of the bride and groom on one side, and their favorite Bible verses on the others. For example, Psalm 23, John 1:1, and the third border is same dark value and is 12 inches with small star blocks in the corner.
