Still looking for wools, I stopped @ local Salvation Army today. They have a Singer for sale, $60. This is @ the SA in Canandaigua, NY. No idea as to operating condition.

WOW, it's outside is much better than the one I bought 30 years ago. But I was lucky, mine only needed a new belt...

Love the machine.. Wish I was closer to you, as I was in Unique ( thrift store), and they had a couple of wool blankets.. dirt chep, but I don't know what to do with them..

Just curious, where is the SA in Canandaigua? I don't think I've found that one. Thought I knew all the thrift shops in the area

South Main Street. If you are going toward the lake, it would be on the right.

Do you know if this is Model 115? I went to look at one last night in my town where the decals were beautiful like this but the paint (is it called 'japan'?) was crackled just to the right of the needle plate. It was about a 3" diameter of crazing so I passed it up.
