I `m going to be going back to the dealer for lesson but find it very user friendly.

If your quilting and want colored thread in the bobbin what do you use.Same as top?
What are the pages of templates used for as they are already built in?
The 1/4 foot is awsome. I ordered one for my pfaff.
Can ypu use pins when doing piecing? How far away to keep you magnetic pin holder?
Do any of you have the external cd rom dr?Should I get this?
All for now I`m sure more later.
    Thanks Gale

the templates are used to show you where you want your design placed on the fabric. Do you have the cloth setter? That is what you use to center your designe exactly where you want it And some times I use the same thread in the bobbin as on top, but some times I use white thread in the bobbin. I buy prewound bobbins from my Janome dealer which has a lot more thread on it than the ones I wind myself.
