I am finished with my speed quilt. I still have the king size hand-quilting job on the rack that I need to do but I really want to start a new project.

I want to make dh a coffee quilt for his coffee business. I have moda Java charms, just not sure what pattern yet.

Two week before my next BOM is posted.

Been doing some English paper piecing for the BOM house quilt, making applique tree tops out of hexagons and diamonds.

PS: changing the avatar to me and dh for valentines day.

I think I should really just sit at the rack and get it done!

What about a huge coffee pot on top of the wall hanging, pouring out cups and saucers and spoons and a small pot of cream dribbling down and a doughnut on a saucer, all in motion dropping from the big coffee pot? A good place for applique.

And the entire thing banded with the Java charms, whatever they are. Maybe a background of coffee beans.
