For a 5x5 layout, you need 41 blocks. For a 4x5 layout, you need 32.
The size is approximate but your figures give me the answer I need. I have about 20 or so blocks made and laying them out on the bed seemed like enough but apparently I need to make more.

Thanks everyone for the help.

You'll also need setting triangles, either plain blocks or pieced partial blocks.

I know. I haven't decided on what yet. I'll probably go with the same color as the sashing but I may use a solid color used in the blocks. I'm using a white on white for the sashing but my daughter has two dogs and white on the setting triangles may not be the best choice since the dogs will be rubbing up against it. I'll have to audition both when I get to that point and see which works best.

Just made this up in EQ - blocks 13" with 2" sashing. You will need more than you have now.
It finishes at 106x106"

KS I assume means king size. If you give me the actual size you wan t it to finish out, plus the size of sashings between the blocks plus borders I can go into my EQ8 program and figure it out for you. That's what I do when I see a quilt online but don't have the pattern. I take it into this program and figure it out so I'll know what size to cut the fabrics, how much I need of each fabric and so on. Contact me privately.
