    hi ,i just bought this machine wed.,& after reading the book rof over a day,i still can't figure out how to thread it !!!i feel like a real dunce'been sewing as far back as i can remember,but this has me stumped!i get as far as the needle itself,theni'm lost.i know my eyes are MUCH worse,am going for new glasses next week,but can't tell where to go after last thread guide.does anyone have this machine or have any info on it ?i bought it from a dealer almost an hr. from here.so going back is pretty much out of the question,esp some thing as DUMB as not being able to thread the needle!my only plan "B"is tofind someone on this board who's had the same prob. HELP<PLEASE. i am SO anxious to start usig it,but can't get past the threading!

    Does it have a threading diagram? Little arrows pointing the way?

    yes it has two [2] diagrams,but unfirtunatle can't really see or undrestand eithet of them! i feel lika anidiot! myonly other hope is to use manifying glass,do't eventhink that'll work !tipped the machine up as far as i can,no help

    also finally got manual for 1909 singer,veryclear,lg diagrams,but lord only knows when i'll get to it !

    Try calling the shop, sometimes they can walk you thru the process over the phone. It's sure worth a try!

    I just went to the Brother website and there is a troubleshooting page for this machine. Threading is one of the choices. Give that a try.
