Default Oh how I love my new foot!

Finally found (thanks to a QB member) a 1/4" foot with the prongs on both sides equal so that you can sew a 1/4" seam on the left or the right! For this 9 foot square Hunter's North Star quilt it is IDEAL! My machine is a Pfaff Exp 3.0. So much less turning this big heavy quilt. When I get to the point of the star, I just stitch backwards up the other side. Maybe I can do it in 3 months instead of 6!

Tip:Find one for your machine if possible!

I'm so happy it's just what you were looking for. I'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of the finished quilt.

HAHAHA!! I read this and immediately thought, "Me too!!".....with my fully restored right achilles tendon since the fall on 9/28.

But I'm pretty happy you have a new foot too.

Your quilt looks lovely and I hope you post pictures soon. I would love to see it finished. What is the name of the foot that you bought and where did you find it?

A walking foot and other speciality feet make quilting so very much easier

I'm glad you found a solution for your machine. You have to be very talented to sew backwards!
I have a Pfaff, too, and am able to move the needle either way to get the 1/4" seam.
Show us that beautiful quilt when it's done. I have red and white on my list, too.
Is Ridgefield near Vancouver, WA? We used to drive near there when going from Sammamish, WA, to Keizer, OR. No more of those trips.
