I agree with all that has been said above. I don't throw anything much away, I use it to baste or other little jobs that don't take much tugging.

I too use thread that was my Grandmother's......she passed away in 1986....and the thread is just as good now as it was when she bought it......stored carefully.........I too have purchased new thread that was so weak I had to throw it away........
