Default Olfa Rotary Cutter Yellow Plastic Spacer Replacement

I have looked everywhere for a replacement for the yellow plastic spacer that goes on the back of the cutter between the metal washer deal and the screw on back for my Olfa 45mm Ergonomc rotary cutter. It managed to disappear when I was changing out my blade. I have looked on the internet and there are none of these to be found. Most answers are "just buy a new cutter". I have a perfectly good one, just need the part for it. Has anyone had this to happen and if so what did you use to replace it?

Thanks,
Patsews

have you contacted Olfa? They sometimes send out a new cutter if necessary.

I would contact them. Maybe they can send you out the replacement part. I am sure you are not the first to have this happen. Never hurts to ask.

Where were you when you changed it out? I would start there. Maybe in a tool drawer. or in between some scraps that were nearby?
