Oliso TG 1050 iron: steam contol?
I just saw that the Oliso TG 1050 iron is on sale next week at JoAnn's, and I've wanted one ever since I saw a video tutorial with a "pop-up" iron.
I saw a brief reference somewhere to a steam control--but can't find it "for sure". So, if anyone has one (this is the blue Oliso)--can you turn off steam? Does it work properly? I know there is a Great Steam Debate--"To Steam, or Not to Steam..." I do sometimes and don't others...so a control would be nice.
Thanks,
Hallie

at this site, choose the third pic down on the left... you can see that one of the choices is no steam http://www.amazon.com/Oliso-TG1050-1...o+TG+1050+iron

Do you know what JoAnn's sale price is going to be? I have the orange/gray older version and if when I don't want steam, I just don't put any water in! But yes, I can manually turn off the steam, as well (or select low, med, high).

Followup: I did buy the iron. I love it! It heats up SO fast; if it turns off after 8 minutes, it re-heats in literally less than 15 seconds. No dripping or spitting. I can turn the steam off, or on at low, medium or high settings. Definitely worth the sale price and standing in the cold for 10 minutes before the store opened that day.
