    Hmmmm I think you are right about financially dangerous, think I will have to leave my purse (wallet) at home tee hee!!

    Turns out the group is mixed stitching crafts, not just patchwork so that explains why there are no places, cross stitch & embroidery are more popular than patchwork by far in this area!!

    Oh Gayle, I felt like my right hand was cut off when I had no one to share my passion with, so now it's like being whole again, they are a lovely bunch of ladies, no quilting police and seemed to really welcome me in, which means a to me, especially at the moment with John's ill health, I need to make new friends

    You may be able to kid yourself the first time you do that, but I BET the next time you go, so does the purse (including wallet). Yep - tried that too - unsuccessfully.

    Here in U.K., we call a wallet a purse, and a purse a handbag...LOL, quirks of languages LOL!! I DAREN'T start spending money on quilting shop fabrics...or the boss will have my guts for garters LOL!!!
