Happy for you. I have no quilts from my family as I am the only one that I know of that quilts.My Grandmother crochet but I never got anything she made. Enjoy your quilt. Doing Happy Dance for you.

Yay for you!! make sure that when you get it you put labels on it if there isn't already one. I have to do this for a few quilts my grandmother/great grandmother made. I know who made them and for who, but if I don't mark it, no one else will know

That is so great!! It's really exciting.
My great-grandmother was the last quilter in my extended family. I ended up having to throw the quilts away a couple of years ago due to deterioration, but kept some squares from the best parts of the quilt to bind and hang on the wall.
