Really is a good deal, even though it's $20,000 it is cheap compared to a new one. A new machine only is $15,800us. My machine comes with the table, heaps of bits and pieces plus help when I need it.

LOL Enjoy every minute you and Bruce spend together. No, I don't name my machines.
DH does know about this. He actually encouraged this affair, but I don't think he knows were it may lead. He has helped me make room for Bruce's arrival on the 29/5/10.

My HQ 16 is named Grandma Bea after my sister's mother-in-law who taught my sister to quilt, and she in turned got me hooked. Fun hours ahead for you!!!!

Yes, I name my machines. I have an Elgin (I'm not sure what model) named Brutus, and a Singer 99k named Elizabeth. I usually call her Betsy. I have also named (or helped naming) at least 5 of my mother's sewing machines.

I know it is too late but I don't know if you want to call your machine Bruce. Bruce was the nickname the automatronic shark in "Jaws" was called. It kept breaking down and never worked right except once and then it sank. A little movie trivia. For all those of you that watched "Finding Nemo" there was a great white shark in it named Bruce too. I am guessing it was referencing to "Jaws" too or Steven Spielberg since he directed the movie.
