Neat idea, I working on a quilt for a neighbors son and will back with the checkerboard and pocket in the corner.

Great idea for the checkerboard on the back of the quilts. Also like Edie's idea using the maps on the backs. Thanks for sharing.

I'm working on my own version of this, just don't have it finished yet.

Nice idea! It would also make a good back for a doll quilt, and if the doll isn't too picky about comfort, the "pillow" could be a little zippered bag full of checkers.

The one that I made was a different pattern - it had a hopscotch, checkerboard, tic tac toe, shoes to tie, numbers to count, a little personal book, pockets to hide things and an I spy border. Oh, I almost forgot also had a chalkboard.
