Those inexpensive bed risers from Bed, Bath, Beyond can solve a lot of problems. I think the highest ones are 7". Maybe that would make the end table idea more workable.

I totally agree. Glad I don't have to decide, yet, but I only have 2.

I would keep all three. I think you will always miss not having the one you didn't keep. At least try it for awhile. Put it at a friend house or my house

I would keep the Baby Lock because it does 2 things.

I don't know that I'd even take 2. Mind you this is coming from someone who only has 1 machine for sewing and one for embroidery. I'd love to get a combo machine so I'd only have 1. I just don't have the funds now to do that.

Having to choose between a child and a sewing machine, now THAT would be a tough one!

Some days - - - - - - - the machines are more cooperative than the children and provide more pleasure - - - - - - and are less demanding - - - - and cost a lot less to maintain.

Can machines be jealous of each other?

I would look at which one had cost the most in maintenance and get rid of that one. I, personally, have three also, but if I had to downsize, I would definitely not keep all three - a retirement community home or unit probably does not have as much space as you now have and you do not need to have things taking up space you don't need. Also, you will probably get involved in a lot of activities and not have as much time to sew. Enjoy your time and the social activities. Just saying........

I love my Janome machines. The baby lock is nice to keep if you intend to embroidery as well as sew. I would lose the Bernina, probably has a higher re-sell value and it is the most expensive to maintain and use (accessories, etc).

The nursing home I volunteered at had basement storage for those that needed to store things that they didn't have room for in their rooms. Ask if they have that and if they do, take all 3 machines. You can store which one you don't need at the time and then you have a spare when you need it.
