Default Is one of these better than the other?

I am starting a miniature quilt and I have two different versions...which do you think looks best. I am just planning at this stage, so I don't have all the pieces cut yet.

My question is the "focus" fabric. In one idea I have a pattern on the focus fabric, the other has no pattern. I think I actually prefer the one with no pattern, but this quilt will be for the Miniature Auction our guild has during our Quilt Show. So I really want to make something that will appeal to others, not just to me.

So, which would you go with. I know there isn't much difference..but I need to decide and cut more fabric.

Thanks for any input.

Dina

I like the first one better, too.

I agree - I like the top one best. The pattern on the focus fabric sets it aside from the rest of the fabric and as LadyElisabeth said - it pops!

A tiny Warm Wishes, cute! I like the first one best but both are sweet.
