I am still finding my way around here (to update) I had wrinkled batting I ended up taking it to town and putting it in the dryer with some wet cloths. It puffed up nicely. The piece I had already cut was a foot to short. I always buy twin size when making a baby quilt so I still had enough for the quilt. I couldn't believe how far it shrunk up. None that I could tell side wise.
To the Lady that goes through Crescent. I lost your name. I live by the Missouri river in Goosehaven but my address is Crescent. I almost have the quilt quilted. I can't seem to make a straight line DH says maybe because I never did one with progressive lens bifocals or even glasses. Any one else have that problem.Sorry this got so long

Try doing your straight line quilting with the feed dogs UP and a walking foot on. That should help.

I never could sew with my glasses on, but now I can't see anything up close so I am having a problem. Can't find the eye in the needle, and can't find the end of the black thread! But I won't stop sewing until it is absolutly impossible.!!!

I hated my $600. progressive lens. I buy cheap readers at the dollar store and see just fine with those.

I bought a walking foot a few years ago and couldn't get it to work. It sust seemed to jump around I really don't remember what all. It just wouldn't work. Could it be because I had my feed dogs up? If that is all that was wrong I'm really going to be upset. I don't even remember where I put it.

I think you are supposed to have the feed dogs up. Sounds like it was a bad foot.
