Today at work while I was chatting with a coworker, another person said "did I hear you say you were a quilter?" When I said yes, she got so excited. Within minutes we were talking about projects, where to shop, what style quilting do you do, showing photos of our work.
I asked her if she was a project quilter or a process quilter. A project quilter buys supplies for one project at a time. A process quilter buys fabric and books just to have it. We both laughed when I said I just go in the sewing room and fondle the fabric. She said she lays the new fabric out on the passenger side of the car so she can look at it while she's driving home. So now I have a new friend. Fun! And yes, we admitted we are crazy and passionate about our work. Isn't quilting fun?

That's Great, always fun to find things in common when, the guys cruse around in the oldie cars, you can tell what there into, Quilting's different.
Had a friend mention to a customer who came thru her line the other day about a quilted hand bag, the conversation turned: that she was a new Quilter and the customer ask if she could give her a hug!! LOL but sweet :)
