I redid a good bit of the first quilt I made for a young friend's birthday gift. Somehow I was envisioning it as a wallhanging (had been made of vintage fabrics belonging to her great grandmother), but she wanted it as a snuggle up with quilt, so what could I say but 'of course I'll fix it sweetie!' when my too scant seams came undone.
