    Default oops Minkee

    my sis ironed her Minkee. now all the gots are flat... any suggestions ...she has washed it to no avail..... suggestions???

    Minkee is polyester, so it either melted a bit or the heat 'reset' the texture.

    Excuse me for asking but WHY would somebody iron Minkee? I've made sev Minkee blankets but never felt the need to iron them. Am I missing something?

    Not sure why either.... What can I say..... she is my sister.... and I love her....lol

    It will not come back because it is polyester. Been there done that when I was trying to experiment with it.

    Sorry, the dots are permanently flat. When anyone starts to quilt with something beside 100% cotton, you have to be so careful with the iron.
