    Not as pricey as the last one that was on here. I don't have a big one like that, just the little 30.00 one.

    I have one for the small sppols of thread, I don't use and just use my machine to fill them.

    That looks similar to the one I use to fill my LA bobbins. Mine doesn't have a pretty box covering the motor. If you use plastic bobbins, you probably don't want one of these.

    I would imagine it winds bobbins as tight and nice as the pre wound ones. No sewing machine can wind a bobbin as perfectly as a professional bobbin machine. I have two gross of pre wound bobbins so I don't need any more bobbins for a while. And I have a shoe box full of bobbins my DGD wound for me using the Sidewinder. She loved to wind bobbins when she was younger. I kept Walmart sold out of bobbins when she came over. LOL
