I like the red. Whatever makes you happy, go with it.

I love the red border. Right choice to change.

I had to really look hard and long to see that. I would leave it and not point it out.

I didn't see it at first. Once I did, it really stood out. I would change it. Maybe use solid red & green for the sides and leave the plaid at the top & bottom (if you want to keep the plaid.)

Well, I liked the other, but the red border looks really really good. Well done!!!

Much better! You done good! If it had been me and I had left it the way it was, it would have haunted me forever.

If it's not for a competition, I would not worry about it. Looks sufficiently quirky to get away with it.

You were right to change the border. IMHO, the red really sets off the center of your piece. It is really striking! Great job!

If it were mine I would change the border. The center is beautiful but the mismatched plaid pieces really are a distraction. If the plaids could be matched around the piece it would look harmonious. I would use a solid or a tiny print matched to one of the colors in the center.

On first glance it looked fine, but the more I looked at it, the more the mismatched plaid lines bugged me. The center is great. I think a solid border would improve the overall look.
