My daughter-in-law picked this material for a duvet cover. One side is done using Dora, turquiose, yellow and black.

This block is a trial for the other side. I was not going to use any yellow(not really my favorite color) but I am now thinking of alternating blue and yellow on the blocks. Dora is 12.5, blue is a 5.5 square, and black is a 2 inch square. I think I will make the color square only 5 inches. Ideas and suggestions welcome.

I think it is very cute! I would alternate the blue and yellow like your thinking, it may not be your favorite but it will make it flow. Your doing a great job.

Although I like the block, alternating them with yellow will brighten up the overall quilt back :D:D:D
