Missouri Stars tutorial last week was Strips and Four Patches. It used one bright jelly roll and a solid...was cheerful!

Thanks to all for the input and ideas. I am leaning towards using solid black fabric with the batiks. Thinking maybe an 8 pointed star design. I've been wanting to try that pattern and the black will really help the stars to pop. Will try to post pictures when I get it done. Thanks again and happy quilting!
