This is where I am now...
I have the tiger graphics cut out and on paper circles - what do you think? I thought it would be nice to change up the hard lines to something softer now. Wonder if I should make them balloons instead of circles??? I'm left with a very tiny yellow sashing on top and bottom and wanted a place to embroider her name and something else. Don't know if I should add one more wide border (white) to embroider on and to highlight quilting or just finish it off with @ 3" wide black border. It is back to square and I thought if I added the white border - it would be wider on top and bottom to elongate it a little. Opinions please.

Where's the 'Geaux Tigers' at. My son is a huge LSU fan and he lives and breathes LSU. We went on a college visit and loved the campus, got to meet Mike, the tiger, and just really enjoyed ourselves. Baton Rouge is a great city and just loved the food there.

I like the circles as is. Could you embroider above and/or below the center carriage? It looks great!

beautiful quilt, the circles look great, one very lucky baby, maybe a small yellow border with baby's name and then black

I agree the use of circles over balloons and the idea of putting the name in the center piece.

    Love the circles.
The embroidery could be the label on back.
Gorgeous use of colors and designs.
    Just awesome quilt!

I posted my reply in the other thread before seeing this one.

    Adorable!

I wouldn't finish with a black border, that's too hard for my taste for a baby quilt. Do you have anymore of the purple fabric?

I like it! I think I'd go with the dark border - not a white. But, if you are happy with the size I think I would just bind it with the black or gold

That is really cute. I would keep the circles. How about moving one of those cute little tiger circles to the back & embroidering her name in a circle?
