This is not quilt related, but if you're in Paducah, you must see the flood wall murals along the Ohio river. You won't be sorry!!!

I have heard that Paducah Quilt Show is the "Mother" of all shows. Never have gone, but sure would like to.

By all means go!!! Paducah is Quilt City USA, the whole town gets involved. Quilts, vendors, food, what's not to like? The quilt museum is awesome. Just the stained glass window quilts are worth the visit.
Wish I was going this year.

I haven't been to the actual expo, but friends love it. I do go up to Paducah occasionally to buy fabrics from Eleanor Burns shop and Hancock's warehouse and there is a great expo in Pigeon Forge in March or APril that I really enjoyed.

Have been to Williamsburg and Paducah (3 ) times. Definitely go to Paducah. The museum alone is wonderful to see, but the quilts in the show are fantastic as well.

Thanks for all the feedback! I have a "day off" while I'm there which happens to be during Paducah Quilt Show, and y'all have convinced I should take the short drive - may never have another opportunity. While let you know all about it when I get back!

I was in Wa for a visit with my kids, and missed the quilt show, but did manage to get to Shibori Dragon in Tacoma or Seattle, (can't remember which) Had a wonderful time and spent wayyyyyyy to much money. If I had a chance to go to Paducah, I would go, no matter what or when. Have a great time for us, ok?
