Welcome to the world of PP. I, too, am a quilting newbie and when first presented with a PP project from the BOM on this board, I was petrified. I decided that I'd have to give it a try and low and behold I LOVE IT and am always looking for PP patterns. All the previous posts and links and ideas are really great. Good Luck. Jinnie

Google "paper piecing quilt patterns" and it will show you a bunch of sites with free patterns. Have fun - I'm hooked also!
