Is there a pattern to make a baby or small lap size quilt with just a half of a jelly roll? I was thinking of trying a rail fence but can't wrap my mind around the math. Then i thought of just sewing the strips together the long way but that seemed kinda boring.
One of the jelly rolls is all differnet strips and the other partial one is 4 strips of 5 different fabrics.

Thanks.

You can sew them into those boring strips, (remember to alternate your stitching direction) then slice them into square blocks and rearrange. I would sew the strips into groups of either 3 or 4. Use the same number of strips for the whole project.

There's a "Two from One" jelly roll quilt book. I think Connecting Threads has it.
