I love the first one as well. Love the idea of using the cupcakes as the focal row. I just love patchwork!

I like to use churn dash for this type of print. Fussy cut the cupcakes and you could use the larger amount of print for the solid squares and vary all the blocks by using the assorted thirds. It makes for a very quick quilt but still highlights a print.

No suggestions here (you'll get many good ones, I'm sure) but just wanted to say your fabrics are ADORABLE! I love them! Please post photos of this quilt when you get it made.

I like the first and the diamond, a lot. The second one is too busy for me, but a baby would probably love it!
