what is the name of the pattern that starts out light in the corner and finishes with dark colors, thanks

I am afraid that could be a lot of blocks- log cabin is one that comes to mind immediately, though. I always go to the quilters cache website to look at blocks, they have some pictures of some made up in different colors... Good luck, I hope you find what you are looking for.

If you're doing a scrappy quilt, you can arrange it by color as you want with almost any block.

You might just want to take the time to view some of the quilts shown under "pictures." You might find something you like there.

gosh- there is probably thousands of patterns that start light-go to dark...log cabins can---lots...afraid we will need a few more (hints) to figure out what you are looking for...

Do you mean a pattern as in a whole quilt in pattern form; or a block? Makes a difference in what we're looking for.
