Default Pattern for my scrappy quilt.

Well, it seems a lot of people want to know the pattern for my scrappy quilt. I used two blocks for this quilt, one is the Bird of Paradise block, and the other is the Memory Block. Both are 12" blocks. The Memory block on QuiltersCache.com is made a little differently by making a square in the middle instead of a triangle, and flying geese next. I got the pattern from allpeoplequilt.com newletter http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/techni...ilts_ss30.html. Its called Scrap Showcase quilt. I'm so glad you all like it so much. I do too.

lol, thanks. I've graphed it out myself already. I was really quite smitten with your quilt when I saw it and didn't want to lose it ;-) So lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Those two blocks are really great together! I love how you extended the piecing into the border. It really adds to the look of the quilt. Great job, and gorgeous quilt!

It's a wonderful quilt, but that's a ton of tiny pieces!

Me too! I already had the star block from a different quilt, so just had to figure out the other one. Spent a half hour with colored pencils yesterday afternoon, except I made my blocks 9" finished as i have a pile of left over HSTs that will finish at 1 1/2". I also really like how the block extends into the borders.

Beautiful quilt. I've marked the site.... will probably have to buy this one or just graph it out and make it that way. It's really stunning........ and I'd like to know how the block extends into the border as well.

Wow your quilt is lovely. I don't know if my "experience" level will ever be there - but I am saving the picture of your quilt and the link. Thanks! I really like the way your quilt turned out!!!

The border really ratchets up the quilt a notch. A beautiful detail.
