I have a quick request to make (2) blankets for baby boys. Can anyone suggest a quick and easy pattern? I would like to have them both completed within the week, that's why I need something quick and easy.

The Super Size 9 Patch is a super quick pattern. The pdf is at the bottom of this page. http://www.quiltmaker.com/patterns/details.html?idx=184

You'll even have one left over!

You can do the pattern that we use for Quilts for kids. It is called a 4 patch quilt.

I've cut different size strips from the whole width of the fabric (a couple different but coordinated fabrics) and sewed them together. Obviously, the finished width of the quilt is around 40", but it can be as long as you want. Very quick to do with straight line quilting trhough it all.

This is really quick and easy, and can be easily adjusted to whatever size you want.
