Quiltmaker Magazine has had a series of Flip Flop Patterns.
The Flakes were in the January issue.
The Current Issue has an abstract sort of butterfly. I looked at it yesterday but did not buy it.

:-) i found that pattern of the flip flop snowflake. it is in the quiltmaker mag january/february 2010 issue no 131. it is also suppose to have a butterfly and a basket to do also. i downloaded the mag and it was not in there, just the snowflake. it is really called flip flop flake.

generally you have to have a subscription to the mag in order to download patterns. some are free, though.
