Default pattern for very easy french braid quilt using strip pieced squares

Within the past 6 months there was a thread about an easy french braid quilt pattern. One of the responses was a link to a site featuring a strip pieced block with an arrangement like that of the french braid. It looked much easier than the conventional way of doing this braid. Unfortunately I did not keep the site or copy the pattern. Can you help me locate it again?

No, this is the conventional method for making the braid. The one that I want is sewn into strip sets, cut into squares and then arranged into the braid. Thanks though.
