If you want to do something small using a large print, here's a tutorial on You Tube for table toppers that are about 18" across. Also, here's the posting I did recently on Pictures so you can see what they look like using a large print.

The tutorial link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbmjFsusdQo

Lavender Lime has a book called Sweet & Simple. It goes together quickly and looks nice.

I don't have pattern names but was just at my local quilt shop and the ladies were in the process of making up samples of quilts that they purchased at Houston. All of them used big prints by cutting, giant rectangles of the focus fabrics and pairing them with giant rectangles of solids.

I made the second quilt for my Sister in Law, I had seen a small wallhanging with a similar pattern so I just made it up to suit the large floral print I had

Thank you lalaland for the YouTube link. Your table toppers are beautiful. ksdot thanks for the link to the patterns. A couple of the books look interesting. I think I might have to make a couple of the hexagon table toppers.

So if we could just have a place to go to see a list of the initials with the words, it would sure be a BIG HELP in getting the true meaning of the posts shared.
We do. It's at the bottom of this page!
