There are a great many YouTube videos for precuts.
I do not mind having to cut down precuts for a pattern, it generally is easier to manage smaller cuts, than yardage. Generally they are on grain, so there is no wrestling with grain lines.

Unless you want a quilt made from 10" squares you will need to cut them at some time. Quite a few blocks can be made by just placing 2 squares RSF and sewn either side of a line and cut into - HSTs (pinwheels & QSTs), D4P or D9P, 4 patches, probably similar to Turning 20 etc, by sewing lines across but off centre, but they will still need to be cut. You can make stack-n-whack and crazy quilts.
Just my offering of ideas.

Here is my favorite pattern using a layer cake and a charm pack and a mini charm pack. This is Roses on the Vine and I've made two of them. While I was working I bought drawers full of pre-cuts not knowing what I would do with them. This is called Sunrise by Lavenderlime. You have to make that layer cake a 9 1/2 inch piece first.
They go together fast. I made another one out of Bee Happy and that one sold. I have 3 more borders to put on this one. I use the same fabrics because someone else coordinated all the colors. I'm not good at that.

My biggest problem with pre-cuts is that so many pieces are left over after many projects-more scraps. Granted they are cut into specific sizes-but they are scraps. Either I have too many pieces and create scraps or I don't have enough pieces because I have already used part of the bundle. I have a couple of patterns using charms that I use for kid donation quilts; but, I am about to give up on pre-cuts in favor of just buying yardage.

If you are not going to cut them, why would you need a pattern? Just sew them together, with or without sashing.

I am guessing that you mean cutting down a charm square to 4.5 inches, not that you don't want to cut them at all. Missouri Star has patterns that use the 5" or 10" without cutting down, and they have patterns that you do cut down.
