How do you remove pencil marks on fabric that has been there awhile (months!)

I stopped using pencils because I couldn't get those marks off. Sorry. :cry:

I usually just throw it in the washing machine and it comes out fine. If not, I've heard that Oxyclean can get anything out. Haven't tried it though.
